We are a cafe specialising in healthy whole foods, fermented products and sourdough bread dishes and our very own in house brand of kombucha. Think modern Australia cafe style. This pizza making role is a special opportunity to join a startup company and gain unique skills. Job responsibilities include preparing food for customers (healthier versions of pizza, cafe brunch food, fermented goods such as pickles and kimchi, making jams and nut butters, smoothie bowls), keeping kitchen clean, mentoring culinary arts intern, developing menu for further growth and new projects. Chef work experience is required. We are a modern, supportive and rewarding workplace.
Job Scope:
1.1 Responsible for pizza and food preparation – maintain high level of food quality and presentation. Making dough and making pizza.
1.2 Responsible for kitchen food stock and supply – work with other chef and café supervisor to ensure kitchen is adequately stocked with food and ingredients
1.3 In charge of cleaning kitchen and maintaining high level of hygiene
1.4 Work with company Director to execute PICO café menu as per vision of company
1.5 If necessary, assisting café staff with barista drink making, juice making, smoothie making.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: RM1,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
