We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to intern within our Research and Development department at our Oxford site.
The successful candidate will join an exciting, fast-paced Assay Development laboratory team for a 4–6-week period and learn more about how Sherlock Biosciences aims to revolutionize the diagnostics industry. You will work closely with research scientists to develop your laboratory skills and will gain valuable insight into the assay development processes within Sherlock.
You will have the opportunity to plan and complete scientific experiments, work collaboratively within a passionate laboratory team and develop your data interpretation and presentation skills.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have a keen interest in science and diagnostics and will be willing to learn. Some previous experience with PCR and/or molecular biology techniques would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
